March 12, 2007 -- Greencastle, Ind. -- The Tiger Alumni Bands and Stumblebums (TABS) WILL support the Tiger Women's Basketball Team at the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament Final Four and Final Round hosted at Springfield College in Springfield, Mass. 

At last weekend's Elite Eight games, our Tiger team asked for a pep band to be there for the Final Four and Final Round -- it was deathly quiet in the Emmanuel gym without a band.  So let's do our best to make it happen!  The Tiger Pep Band will not be able to attend, so it is up to the alums to support our Tigers!

Please log into the TABS member area (register for free first, if you need to) and click on the RSVP link to register for Friday and Saturday.  The reservations will close at noon ET on Thursday.  

UNDERGRADUATES: Tiger Pep Band and Rose Pep Band members are welcome to perform with TABS at this event, but you will be responsible for your own travel arrangements, conduct, and liability, just as the alums are.  Please register on the TABS site and RSVP if you want to go!  If you need help coordinating transportation or hotel arrangements, please contact This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it

There is no TABS event fee for this event, however TABS participants will incur NCAA gate admissions fees ($10).  TABS members must wear a TABS or TPB uniform polo with khaki pants.  Please bring a black shirt with you -- the band may specify an alternate uniform for this event.

All participants are responsible for their own transportation and housing.  Sites such as Expedia.com and Travelocity.com have had good deals available for flight, hotel, and car packages, but you will need to act quickly!  The TABS director is staying at the  the Days Inn in at 450  Memorial Drive, Chicopee, MA, which is nine miles from the college, and was able to negotiate a room for about $35/night.
